Summit dominates en route to first IMC football title

The 2015 Summit Storm rolled to their first-ever Intermountain Conference football championship on Friday night, with a win over Bend High. It was homecoming night and the most packed crowd I’ve ever seen at Summit. In their four IMC games, the Storm went undefeated, improving to 7-1 overall with a five-game winning streak. Summit wraps up the regular season with a non-league game at Class 6A North Salem next week.
IMC Scores
Summit 55, Mountain View 3
Summit 49, Redmond 7
Summit 59, Ridgeview 7
Summit 49, Bend 7
Total
Summit 212
Opponents 24
Average – Summit 53, Opponents 6

Behind the offensive attack of players like John Bledsoe, Sean Kent, Jason Garcia, Dawson Ruhl, Jacob Thompson and Grant Tobias, the Storm have been piling up the points.

But their defense has been just as impressive holding IMC teams to an average of just six points per game!
