Redmond football off to great start

Redmond Panthers

Going into Friday’s game against The Dalles, Redmond has a 2-0 record and has scored a state-high 118 points.

The fast start comes a year after the Panthers 1-8 campaign in 2013 that saw them end the season on a seven-game losing skid.

In 2013, the Panthers were able to score points, they averaged over 24 per game. But they also gave up over 40 point per. They finished 2013 with a season-high in their 54-40 loss to Roosevelt.

So far this year they are averaging 59 points per game. They likely won’t keep that up for the year, but they may for at least another week! The Dalles is 0-2 and has been outscored 28-104 in those games, including a 50-0 loss to 4A power Molalla.
