How many state championships will the Bend schools win this Fall?

I’m going for it, I’m predicting that Bend schools win 5 out of 6 state titles.

Football – Mountain View won a 5A state title back in 2011 and Ridgeview won a 4A state title back in 2013. Can an IMC team bring home a football state title in 2015? I think so. I predict that either Mountain View or Summit will make a deep playoff run. Could this be the year that Summit wins a football, basketball or baseball state title?
Prediction – Summit or Mountain View

Boys Cross Country – Summit is the reigning state champions and the Mountain View boys finished 5th at state. Summit’s Alex Martin and Eric Fykerud and Bend high’s Caleb Hoffmann are the top returning runners in 5A. Last year’s state runner up Crater will give them a run for their money, returning many of their state placers.
Prediction – Summit

Girls Cross Country – Summit (26 points) and Mountain View (75) finished 1-2 at state with a big gap to 3rd place Corvallis (111). Summit’s Olivia Brooks (state champion) and Hannah Tobiason (3rd) are the top returning 5A runners.
Prediction – Summit of Mountain View

Boys Soccer – Summit reached the state semifinals last year, but that team is nearly all seniors. The Mountain View boys reached the state quarterfinals before falling to eventual state champion Hood River Valley. Look for the Cougars to be at the top of the IMC
Prediction – Not a Bend school

Girls Soccer – SUMMIT! Jamie Brock’s Storm team is going for their 4th state title in a row. And word on the streets is that this is a very, very good team! The three Bend girls soccer teams have been dominant in the state since reclassification. Look for solid seasons by Bend and Mountain View as well.
Prediction – Summit

Volleyball – Summit and Bend finished 4th and 6th last year at state. They were seeded higher than their opponents but were knocked out in the quarterfinals before battling back to play in the 4-6 match, with Summit winning in four games.
Prediction – Summit or Bend
