This Sunday come on out to the Pine Nursery Park in Bend and play some Pickleball to support the Summit boys tennis team.

The goal is to have them completed by June of 2015 in time for the Oregon Senior Games.

According to the Bend Pickleball Club:

“The donors, a married couple, are donating up to $250,000 to complete this project. The donors have chosen to remain anonymous at this time, but are among our most active members, and were honored at our Bend Pickleball Club General Meeting on July 8, 2014. We are hopeful that Bend Parks and Recreation District will also be able to help with shade structures, storage sheds, and other improvements necessary to run a large community pickleball program.”
