Going into this weekend’s game against No. 7 Michigan State, the No. 3 Oregon Ducks were just three points behind Alabama in the AP poll. Florida State was No. 1 with 49 first place votes and 1,456 points. Bama was second with one first-place vote and 1,317 points. After the Ducks beat the Spartans 46-29 on Saturday, don’t be surprised if they improve on their five first-place votes and 1,314 points.

With by far the most impressive win of the season, Oregon should jump Alabama, but the question remains if they can catch Florida State this week.

Saturday’s games:
No. 3 Oregon (2-0) 46, No. 7 Michigan State (1-1) 27.
No. 1 Florida State (2-0) 37, Citadel (0-2) 12.
No. 2 Alabama (2-0) 41, Florida Atlantic (0-2) 0.
