2013-14 Another “Banner Year” for Summit

The 2013-14 school year was another incredible one for Summit high school of Bend, Oregon.

The Storm again won the most state championships of any team in the 5A classification (Oregon has 6 classifications, with several state events combining classifications).

Summit also scored the most points of any school, regardless of classification, in the Oregonian Cup.

Individual highlights:
Matthew Maton – The top distance runner in the state of Oregon. State champion in cross country, and in track (3,000 & 1,500).

Madison Odirone – A three-time individual state champion in girls golf. The senior could become a four-time individual and team state champion.

Tommy Brewer – One of the highest recruited swimmers in the nation.
